His research interests include modeling and control, of electrical energy processes, such as renewable energy systems, intelligent buildings, V2G, microgrids, and HVDC supergrids.
Prof. Bacha has been an Associate Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRIAL ELECTRONICS from 2015 to 2020 and Guest Editor for a special session “ Complex Power Electronics Systems Modeling and Analysis session “ for the same journal in 2019.
