Career Trajectory
Bio
Just after a year, he was awarded the highly prestigious ARC DECRA (Discovery Early Career Research Award) grant (DE130101247) and completed the project successfully in 2016. In 2017, he won his leading ARC Linkage project (LP160101784) and moved to the University of Queensland in 2018.
Throughout his research career, he has been mentored by some of the world's best researchers in the field of materials science and engineering. He also gained critical industrial experience during his stay at his long standing industry partners in USA, UK, Switzerland, Turkey. He was introduced to, and received critical training in, techniques and methodologies from these world renowned industries to manufacture commercial superconducting materials based wires and cables for various applications. He also initiated magnetically triggered biomedical research in collaboration with a number of national and international organizations. He supervised six HDR students as principle and currently supervises two PhD students under various research projects on superconducting materials and biomaterials for various energy and biomedical applications. He won a number of internal, national and international competitive research grants on biomedical application and hired postdocs and casual researchers to work on these projects.
