His scientific interests lie mostly in Geochemistry, Subduction, Coesite, Metamorphic rock and Zircon. His work carried out in the field of Geochemistry brings together such families of science as Eclogite and Terrane. Many of his studies on Subduction apply to Plate tectonics as well.
His Metamorphic rock research integrates issues from Mineralogy, Diopside and Calcite. His studies deal with areas such as Yilgarn Craton, Petrology and Crust as well as Zircon. His Paleontology research incorporates themes from Geomorphology and Isotopes of carbon.
