Shuguang Hou

Dr. Shuguang Hou is the Chairman and CEO of Sichuan Purity Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd（“Purity Pharma”）. He also works as a professor and a Ph.D. student advisor at Chengdu University of TCM. He obtained a BS degree in pharmacy from Beijing Medical University in 1991, and a Ph.D. degree in pharmaceutical sciences from Virginia Commonwealth University in USA in 2001. He worked as a teaching assistant at Beijing Medical University, a research scientist at PPD Development in USA, and a product development specialist and APAC technical business marketing manager at 3M in USA. He returned China in 2012 and established Purity Pharma. Purity Pharma has a full R&D pipeline with more 30 drug products, and 6 approved products on market. He has published more than 30 scientific papers, co-translated and co-authored 3 books, and honored 18 patents. He received more than 10 national and international awards.
