Omid Ameri Sianaki received the Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master degree in Industrial Management (Operational Research) from Islamic Azad University, Tehran, Iran in 2000 and 2007, respectively. He is currently pursuing the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from School of Information Systems, Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia. He was awarded Curtin top PhD scholarship for working on Australian Research Council project in 2010, Curtin University Postgraduate Scholarship (CUPS) in 2012, Curtin Office of IP Commercialisation-fully funded scholarship 2013, and Curtin Completion scholarship in 2014. He has been project manager in different industries for more than 10 years. His main research interests include scheduling, optimization techniques for energy management system, decision making, and demand response.
