I'm a research fellow at the Simons Institute at U.C. Berkeley. I recently completed my Ph.D. advised by Peter Bro Miltersen at the Center on the Theory of Interactive Computation at Aarhus University. My Ph.D. research was supported in part by an IBM Ph.D. Fellowship (2013-2014) and a Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship (2012). I have a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of Waterloo, where I worked with Kate Larson. I received the Outstanding Achievement in Graduate Studies Award for my Master's degree.
