More than 20 years of relevant experience in hydrology, hydraulics and early warning system with special focus on hydrological modeling, data analysis, implementation of operative services for flood forecasting at national and international level. Responsible/coordinator of projects implementing EWS, DRR applications and water resources services. About 30 peer reviewed scientific publications on hydrological modeling, water resources, satellite application in hydrology and operational services (see. Publications) Proven track of training at academic and professional level (Bachelor and MS level at University Genova) and high specialization courses (courses for Civil protection managers and hydrological forecasters). Proven experience in support to Italian Civil Protection National Department in emergency situations (post event risk evaluation and support to operational intervention, e.g. collapse of the Morandi bridge in Genoa in 2018, flooding of Cinque Terre in October 2011, landslide of A6 highway in 2019, debris flow in San Vito in Cadore in 2015, debris flow in Cortina in 2017).
