个人简介
Dr Stanley Stylli has a long-established background in glioma research and is part of the Department of Neurosurgery at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. His major focus is understanding how cancer cell structures known as invadopodia facilitate glioma invasion, in particular via exosome-mediated pathways and how they both respond to current therapies.
He also has a strong research interest in the repurposing of drugs for the treatment of glioblastoma, especially aimed at disrupting invadopodia and exosome related processes to form the basis of novel anti-invasive therapies that can be potentially utilized in the clinic.
