个人简介
Stefanie is a Research Associate with interests in Age-Friendly and Dementia Friendly Cities and Communities and their evaluation, health inequalities, place-based approaches to population health, and the involvement of members of the public in health research.
Stefanie is currently co-leading the development of an online evaluation resource for Age-Friendly Cities and Communities. She has been instrumental in the NIHR-funded National Evaluation of Dementia Friendly Communities (DemCom Study 2017-19).
As a member of the NIHR School for Public Health Research (SPHR), Stefanie has co-led research into the potential of Neighbourhood Planning to create Age-Friendly rural communities, based on her previous work on the development of an evaluation tool for Age-Friendly Cities. She is also currently leading a project seeking stakeholder perspectives on place-centred approaches to improving population health in resource-constrained circumstances. Stefanie has been involved in research into welfare benefits, loneliness and wellbeing in older age, and on inequitable access to public health and healthcare interventions for older people and the consequences of Intervention-Generated Inequalities.
