Research Interests
My current research focuses on managing change in an environment of heterogeneous, autonomous, and semistructured databases. I am interested in detecting, representing, querying, and controlling change in such an environment. The home page for the C3 project describes some of these ideas in more detail. Some areas in which I have worked are the following: differencing algorithms for structured data; semistructured data; temporal and historical data; information integration; integrity constraint management; rule languages; object-oriented systems; distributed systems.
