Surajit Bag is an Associate Professor at the EMLV Paris (AACSB accredited). He also works as a Visiting Associate Professor at the Department of Transport and Supply Chain Management, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. He has more than 11 years of industry experience and three years of teaching experience. Educationally, Dr. Surajit earned his second Ph.D. in Engineering Management from the Postgraduate School of Engineering Management, University of Johannesburg, South Africa, and holds his first Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from the School of Business, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, India. His expertise lies in using empirical research methods in the areas of Supply Chain Sustainability. He is familiar with data analysis software such as WarpPLS, PLS-SEM, SPSS, and Python. Surajit has published some of the most cited papers in the International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Business Strategy and Environment, Industrial Marketing Management, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Production, Planning & Control, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, Annals of Operations Research, Information Systems Frontiers, Journal of Business Research and Supply Chain Management: An International Journal. He is the proud recipient of the “AIMS-IRMA Young Management Researcher Award 2016” for his significant contribution to management research. He is the proud recipient of the best “Doctoral Research Award 2020” from the Postgraduate School of Engineering Management, University of Johannesburg in recognition of his outstanding academic excellence. Dr. Surajit was listed in World’s Top 2% Scientists, which was released by Stanford University (bibliometric study by Jeroen Baas, Kevin Boyak and John P.A. Ioannidis, 2021), based on 22 major fields and 172 subfields. He is the Associate Editor of Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing and International Journal of Logistics Management. He is a professional member of the Association of International Business, (AIB), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS); Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM); Indian Rubber Institute; Association of Indian Management Scholars (AIMS International); and Operational Research Society of India (ORSI).
