Bio
Thorsten Wild (Member, IEEE) received the Dipl.-Ing. degree from the University of Karlsruhe, Karlsruhe, Germany, in 2001 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering and information technology from the University of Stuttgart, Stuttgart, Germany, in 2015. Since 2001, he has been working in wireless communications. He is the recipient of numerous patent awards, holding more than 80 filed and granted patent families. He is currently the Head of Next Generation Wireless in Nokia Bell Labs, leading a department in radio systems research, since 2017. He was an active contributor in several European projects. His research interests include air interface design, integrated communication and sensing, as well as multi-antenna and physical layer processing.
