个人简介
Experienced machine vision/learning researcher with expertise in deep learning methods. Currently working as Principal Researcher at Comcast AI lab on vision applications. Although I completed my PhD in computer vision/machine learning on natural images, I spent several years working on reconstruction of wiring diagrams on animal brain at Harvard University and Janelia Research Campus-HHMI.
At Comcast, my effort is devoted to object detection, action recognition and other tasks related to video analytics.
At Harvard, I managed an effort to develop a deep net based computational framework for tera (or even peta)byte scale neuron reconstruction, invented new deep learning algorithms for various tasks of neural reconstruction, advised PhD students on their research goals.
My earlier works during my PhD span a wide range of vision/learning problems including object tracking, background subtraction, object detection, model estimation, markov networks, clustering etc.
