Trinh Van Chien (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electronics and telecommunications from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2012, the M.S. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU), Seoul, South Korea, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in communication systems from Linköping University (LiU), Linkoping, Sweden, in 2020. He was a Research Associate with the University of Luxembourg, Esch-sur-Alzette, Luxembourg. He is currently with the School of Information and Communication Technology (SoICT), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST). His research interest lies in convex optimization problems and machine-learning applications for wireless communications and image and video processing. Dr. Van Chien received the Award of Scientific Excellence in the first year of the 5GWireless Project funded by European Union Horizon 2020. He was an Exemplary Reviewer of IEEE Wireless Communications Letters 2016, 2017, and 2021.
