“Integration of intelligent biology and nanomaterials is central to the development of biologically-inspired platforms for computation, information storage, processing, security and diagnostics. With this research aim, current activities in my group focus on key challenges associated with integration of sophisticated biological systems with nanoscale devices based on low-dimensional material systems such as nanowires, graphene, nanoparticles, metal-organic frameworks and organic polymers.
