Wee Siong, Ng, Head of the Urban Systems Lab, Institute for Infocomm Research and Deputy Director (AI Technology) AI Singapore. Previously, he held various positions. He was the Deputy Department Head of the Urban Systems Initiative of the Agency of Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Head of Data Management Lab, Co-Director of I2R-LTA Joint Lab and Co-Director of I2R-URA Joint Lab. Wee Siong received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from National University of Singapore in 2004. Wee Siong has published 70 papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conference and he has received a Best Paper Award on privacy preservation in streaming data. His current research focuses on AI, Data Analytics, Big Data Processing, and Smart City and Urban Logistics & Transportation applications.
