Weidi is a research fellow at Visual Geometry Group,
where he works on computer vision, deep learning, and biomedical image analysis.
He received the 2018 Excellence Award from Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford.
He was a recipient of Oxford-Google DeepMind Graduate Scholarships on Machine Learning and Biomedical Image Analysis.
He was a recipient of Magdalen Award from China Oxford Scholarship Fund (COSF).
