个人简介
Scientific activity is related to the properties of polymeric and ceramic membranes, along with modification of membranes in order to obtain materials with novel or improved properties. Focused on following membrane processes: pervaporation, gas separation, membrane distillation, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, and forward osmosis, applied for organic solvent dehydration, water and wastewater treatment. Co-author of over 150 papers published in journals from JCR list (H = 35, CI>3000 /without self-citations/). Principal investigator of grants from NCN, NCBR, NATO, NAWA. He promoted 5 doctors.
One of the important elements of his scientific activity is the internationalization of research – he cooperates with research teams from China, France, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Sweden, Hungary, Italy.
Head of Emerging Research Field "Polymers and multi-functional nanomaterials", as a part of the Nicolaus Copernicus University project - Research University Excellence Initiative (since 2020).
