Wolfgang Hönig (Member, IEEE) received the Diploma in computer science from the Technical University (TU) of Dresden, Dresden, Germany, in 2012, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles, CA, USA in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He is an Junior Research Group Leader with TU Berlin, Germany. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Scholar with the California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, CA, USA. His research interests include enabling large teams of physical robots to collaboratively solve real-world tasks, using tools from informed search, optimization, and machine learning. Dr. Hönig was the recipient of several awards, including Best Paper in Robotics Track for a paper at International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling 2016 and the 2019 Best Dissertation Award in Computer Science at USC.
