Bio
I work in the intersection between machine learning and structural biology. My research focuses on a specific bioimage technique called cryo-electron tomography. Developing machine learning based data analysis models can help us reveal the structural and spatial distribution of sub-cellular components toward medical applications. I gained rich experience in 3D computer vision from my research. Prior to coming to CMU, I worked as an undergraduate researcher in a biostatistics lab on genomic data analysis and in a neuroscience lab on drug addition.
