Yao Zhu

Yao Zhu (Member, IEEE) received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in integrated circuit design from the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, in 2011 and 2015, respectively. She is currently the Deputy Head of Sensors, Actuators and Microsystems (SAM) Department, Institute of Microelectronics (IME), Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore. Prior to her current appointment, she was a Scientist working on MEMS and ASIC integration since August 2014 and led the RF MEMS and memory teams since December 2018. Her research interest is on the microelectronics devices, such as piezoelectric MEMS for sensing, actuating, and radio frequency (RF) MEMS for wireless communication, as well as emerging memories for edge computing.
