Bio
Dr. Yasser D. Al-Otaibi (Senior Member IEEE) received the B.Sc in Information Technology, M.Sc. in Information Systems, Grad. Dip. in research studies, and Ph.D. in information systems from Griffith University, Brisbane, QLD, Australia, in 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2018, respectively. During his graduate studies, Yasser received five excellence rewards for five consecutive semesters from the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) in Australia. In addition, he is the recipient of two consecutive Griffith Awards for Academic Excellence (in 2012 and 2013). Yasser is also the recipient of the golden key from the Golden Key International Honour Society. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Information Systems, Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in Rabigh, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Yasser’s current research interests include IT adoption and acceptance, wireless sensor networks, computer security, and IoT. Yasser has published 40+ research papers that appeared in multiple high-quality outlets managed by premiere publishers such as IEEE, Springer, Elsevier, and Wiley. Dr. Yasser is currently a member of the editorial board of the Human-cenrtic Computing and Information Sciences and serving as an associate editor. He is also an active peer reviewer as he has completed 200+ reviews for journals indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) core collection.
