Bio

Yasumasa Kasaba received the Ph.D. degree in engineering from Kyoto University, Kyoto, in 1997. He was a Research Associate with Toyama Prefectural University and an Associate Professor with the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS)/Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). He is currently a Professor and the Director of the Planetary Plasma and Atmospheric Research Center (PPARC), Tohoku University. He is a member of AGU, ASJ, JpGU,JSPS, and SGEPSS.
