Yossi is leading efforts in core Search technologies and experience, including Live Results, Autocomplete, Google Trends, and Search Console. He established an AI Research center, leading efforts in Conversational AI, including Google Duplex (see also here, here, and here), Call Screen, Live Caption (also here), Live Relay, Euphonia, Read Aloud, Recorder transcribe, and Pronunciation practice. Other research efforts include Foundational research, and crisis identification and prediction, including Flood Forecasting (see also an update and a clip), and wildfire updates.

He is the founding exec lead of LaunchPad, which has evolved into a global program supporting thousands of startups through launchpad weeks, Launchpad Accelerator, and LaunchPad Studio for AI & ML focused startups. Yossi is the founding executive lead of Google's Campus Tel Aviv, a novel technology hub for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Israel, which already hosted over 350,000 participants, and developed global entrepreneurship programs such as Campus for Moms. He is the founding executive sponsor of the Mind the Gap program, encouraging high school girls for CS and STEM, which was recognized with the 2015 Anita Borg Institute Social Impact Award and is on the board of She Codes. Yossi pioneered an initiative of bringing online hundreds of heritage collections including the Yad Vashem photo archive and the Digital Dead Sea Scrolls, seeding Google's Cultural Institute.
