My research interests include design, modeling, sensing, and control of intelligent mechanical systems. Areas of my research include soft robotics, human-safe collaborative robots, tactile sensing, and robotic manipulation. My goal is to develop inherently safe and highly performing robots that share workspace with human and work with humans, side by side, to perform challenging manipulation tasks.
