Bio
I am a Ph.D. candidate at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. I am a member of the Geometric Computing Lab where I work with Professor Daniele Panozzo on research in computer graphics, physical simulation, and digital fabrication. The goal of my research is to design robust algorithms that reduces the amount of interactive user work, allowing the automatic simulation of a large number of designs and scenarios. My research has been recognized by the Jacob T. Schwartz Ph.D. Fellowship (2021), Dean's Dissertation Fellowship (2022–2023), and Adobe Research Fellowship (2022).
I earned my Bachelor of Science in computer science with a minor in mathematics from George Mason University (GMU) in 2017. While at GMU, I worked with Professor Yotam Gingold as a member of the Creativity and Graphics Lab. Our work in texture mapping, 3D modeling, and numerical optimization culminated in the publication of "Seamless: Seam erasure and seam-aware decoupling of shape from mesh resolution" at SIGGRAPH Asia 2017.
