I got my Bachelor's degree at Tsinghua Universtiy in 2007, PhD in mathematics at Stony Brook University (advisor: Jason Starr) in 2011. After that I worked as a post-doc at Caltech (2011-2014) and Bonn (Fall 2014). Then I spent three beautiful years (2015-2018) in Grenoble, France, as Chargé de Recherche of CNRS. In March 2018, I returned to China, as an associate professor at Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research (BICMR), Peking University. My research area is algebraic geometry. Of particular interests to me are rationally connected varieties.
