I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) specialising in Brain-Machine Interfaces and Robotics. My research interests lie at the intersection of applied neuroscience and engineering, known as neuroengineering, focusing on neuro-rehabilitation and closed-loop brain-computer interfaces. My previous research work and background are as follows: • Rehabilitation & Space Robotics. • Neuromorphic Computing. • Neural Signal Processing. I earned a PhD in brain-machine interfaces, rehabilitation robotics, and neuromorphic computing from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). I was a visiting researcher at the National University of Singapore and Johns Hopkins University (School of Medicine) during my academic journey. My work has garnered international recognition, including being selected by NASA (iTech) as one of the top 10 most innovators in 2019, receiving a nomination for the International Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) Award in 2020, and being endorsed by the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK as an exceptional talent in the area of neurotechnology in 2022. My vision for the future is to revolutionise neuro-rehabilitation and brain disorder monitoring through cutting-edge brain-machine interface technology.
