Improvements on Yeast Stains Inoculated in Wastewater Treatment by Ultraviolet Mutagenesis

摘要
Ultraviolet mutagenesis was used to improve the characteristics of yeast strains inoculated in oil-containing wastewater treatment. The results showed that cell growth rate, flocculation ability and COD removal ability of some mutants were drastically raised, the hydrophobicity can't be increased by ultraviolet irradiation, the characteristics of mutants were stable after six generation subcultures.
