Sulphur isotope ratios of some power plant flue gases: A method for collecting the sulphur oxide

Analyses of flue gases from fossil fuel power plants for both concentrations of sulphur oxides and the distribution of stable sulphur isotopes therein have been made. Apparatus and procedures are described for isokinetically sampling flue gas and collecting adequate samples for mass spectrometry. Results of these measurements are tabulated and their significance discussed.
