Prognoses investigation of detecting AgNOR in peripheral blood T lymphocyte in patients with esophageal carcinoma

To investigate the prognoses value of AgNOR in peripheral blood T lymphocyte in esophageal carcinoma. 179 patients with esophageal neoplasm were retrospectively analysed. All pationts were divided into 2 groups (AgNOR positive group and AgNOR negtive group) according to the preoperation value of AgNOR in peripheral blood T lymphocyte. Survival analysis were used in 2 groups. 1,3 and 5 year survival rates were 70.6%, 42.3% and 39.6% respectively in AgNOR positive group. 1, 3 and 5 year survival rates were74.1%, 39.6% and 35.0% respectively in AgNOR negative group. There was no significant difference between 2 groups, P=0.817. AgNOR value in peripheral blood T lymphocyte can't be considered as a independent prognosis factor in patients with esophageal carcinoma.
