Simultaneous powdery boronaluminizing of steel stable in aluminum melts

摘要
The corrosion resistance of a boron-aluminized carbon steel C45 in aluminum melt has been investigated. Simultaneous saturation with aluminum and boron has been performed with different powdery mixtures. Simultaneous boronizing and aluminizing of steels has been found possible, layers of up to 1mm thickness being obtained.
