Even OneDimensional Mobility Increases Ad-hoc Wireless Capacity

Abstract: We study the capacity of ad hoc wireless networks where the nodes are assumed to bemobile. The mobility model examined is one where the nodes are restricted to move alongparticular line segments. We examine the per-user throughput over a time-scale where thenode topology could change, making this suitable for applications with loose delay constraints.
