To verify hydric stress influence in growth parameters, N accumulation and productive was carried out an experiment in Miracema - RJ, with three different sugar cane varieties (RB 72454, RB 835486, RB 765418). The experimental design was randomized complete blocks with four replications. Four collections were done to evaluate growth parameters. For each collection, the following parameters were estimated: cane stalk and leaf sheath dry mass; the green leaf area, the leaf area index, the stalk number, the average stalk height, the nitrogen content in the third leaf from the bottom and the nitrogen content in the stalk. During experimental period occurred a hydric stress in function of low precipitation, this fact influenced in the parameters evaluated. The results led to following conclusion: RB 765418 was showed to be the most promising variety, demonstrating to be adjusted for hydric stress conditions of this region.
