摘要
percentile of HS), n=14, both p<0.05. Total BMCI was less in patients, with deficit greatest in trunk -14.8> leg -11.2> arm -8.3%. Patients with FEV1<50% or a low total FFMI lost this hierarchical pattern. IL-6, TNF-α sr I and II were greater whilst physical activity (METS questionnaire) was lower in patients, p<0.01. Conclusion: There was no difference in the total FFMI between subjects but dis- tribution of FFMI was altered. Loss of total BMCI was present and became more diffuse across body regions with severe disease. Regional analysis may determine skeletal muscle and bone loss and be used to monitor targeted interventions at an earlier stage before fixed changes occur.
