Trachyuropoda Kinsella N. Sp (Acari: Uropodina: Trachyuropodidae) From Alberta, Canada, With A Key To Trachyuropoda Species From Temperate North America
INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ACAROLOGY(2010)
摘要
We describe a new trachyuropodid species, Trachyuropoda kinsella n. sp. (Uropodina: Trachyuropodidae), from a grassland in central Alberta, Canada. This represents the northernmost record in North America for the genus Trachyuropoda. The new species is characterized by having three longitudinal ridges and two pairs of C-shaped bulges on the dorsum. A key to the species of Trachyuropoda known from temperate regions of North America is provided.
