Synthesis and Insecticidal Effect of Novel Carbamate Insecticide Alanycarb

Alanycarb, one kind of novel carbamate insecticides, was synthesized from benzylamine, ethyl crylate,sulphur monochloride and sulfuryl chloride as the raw materials. The total yield and purity of alanycarb was 76.7% and 82.9%,respectively. The field trials results showed that alanycarb had an excellent control of Heliothis armigera Hubner and Heliothis assulta Guenee. The control efficacy was 82.8%,87.9% and 94.8% against Heliothis armigera Hubner at the dosage of 300,375 and 450 g a.i./hm2,respectively,which were better than that of monocrotophos at the dosage of 600 g a.i./hm2,and the control efficacy against Heliothis assulta Gueneee at the dosage of 67.5 g a.i./hm2 was more than 94%.
