Absolute line intensities in the v2 band of 12CH335Cl at 7.5 μm

A tunable diode-laser spectrometer was used to perform measurements of absolute line intensities for 100 transitions in the nu(2) fundamental band of (CH3Cl)-C-12-Cl-35 centered at 7.5 mu m. From these data, the vibrational band-strength S-0(upsilon) was significantly determined as S-0(upsilon) = 33.46 +/- 0.39 cm(-2) atm(-1) and the first Herman-Wallis factor (-3.05 +/- 0.27) x 10(-3).
