What is the Size of the Semantic Web ?

When attempting to build a scaleable Semantic Web application, one has to know about the size of the Semantic Web. In order to be able to understand the characteristics of the Semantic Web, we examined an interlinked dataset acting as a representative proxy for the Semantic Web at large. Our main finding was that regarding the size of the Semantic Web, there is more than the sheer number of triples; the number and type of links is an equally crucial measure.
