Radial Integrals For Relativistic Coulomb Functions

Abstract Relativistic Coulomb integrals which occur e.g. in inelastic electron scattering can be expressed in closed analytic form in the limit of vanishing energy loss. A method of calculation is presented which is based on elementary properties of the confluent hypergeometric functions such as their differential equation, recurrence relations and asymptotic behaviour for large arguments.
