Kinetics of the phase separation of the dilute 3He4He HCP solutions and properties of 3He dispersed in solid 4He matrix

Pulsed NMR technique is employed to observe the kinetics of the phase separation and to measure the magnetic properties of the decomposed 3 He 4 He dilute solutions.Observations of the kinetics made on the HCP solutions in the pressure range 3.5—3.8 MFa at 0.5 ±0.1% and 1.2 t 0.2% concentrations of 3 He before separation display different behaviour. Magnetic susceptibility of the samples at 0.5% 3 He concentration obeys Curie-Weiss' law at temperatures above 10 mK. TheWeiss constants of two samples from three investigated are 2 – 3 times more than the appropriate BCC 3 He values. One of the samples demonstrates a flat peak in the magnetic susceptibility near 3 mK. The magnetic phase ordering of the decomposed solutions was never found above 0.7 mK.
