摘要
Lead telluride monocrystals doped with varying quantities of silver have been grown by Bridgman method. Hall effect and electrical conductivity measurements have been carried out on these monocrystals. Atomic absorption analysis has been used to correlate variations in their physical properties with the silver concentration measurements. The preliminary results show a significant distribution variation of the doping element occuring between the first-to-freeze and the last-to-freeze solid. These variations are accompagnied by a change in the electrical properties.
