摘要
This paper presents an optimization strategy for pulp/water flow management in a paper production system. The problem is formulated at two levels - the upper/design level concerning optimal volumes of the pulp/water tower and the lower/operational level concerning how to control the system optimally with given tower volumes. At both levels of there are multiple and conflicting objectives.
