Sa1428 EUS-Guided Transgastric Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt Using the Axios Stent

Portal hypertension has traditionally been managed by interventional radiologists using a transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt. The availability of EUS and a lumen-apposing stent may allow for the endoscopic management of this disease through the creating of a transgastric intrahepatic portosystemic shunt. Purpose: To evaluate the AXIOS (Xlumena, Inc., Mountain View, CA), a novel lumen apposition stent, for creating a transgastric intrahepatic portosystemic shunt in an acute porcine model.
