摘要
incidence (RI) 0.97 per year, p<0.001) and increased with age (RI = 1.18/ 10 years, p=0.001). Adjusting for age, current HAART was significantly protective in the late period 2001-2005 (RI = 0.80, p=0.04) and marginally in the early period 1997-2000 (RI = 0.88, p=0.1). In a full multivariate analysis, after adjusting for calendar year and age, factors significantly associated with hospitalization included having health insurance (RI = 1.86), being homeless (RI = 1.58), injecting drugs (RI = 1.43), reporting a sexually transmitted infection (RI = 1.33), female gender (RI = 1.31) and alcohol use (RI = 0.86). Over time, the relative proportion of AIDS-related and drug-related discharge diagnoses declined while the relative proportion of pneumonia increased substantially.
