Piezoelectric And Dielectric Properties Of Low Temperature Sintering Pmn-Pzn-Pzt Ceramics According To The Amount Of Pbo

In this study, in order to develop the composition ceramics for low loss multilayer piezoelectric actuator, Pb-x[(Mn-1/3 Nb-2/3)(0.07)(Zn1/3Nb2/3)(0.06)(Zr0.48Ti0.52)(0.87)]O-3 (abbreviated as PMN-PZN-PZT) ceramics were fabricated according to the amount of PbO, using two-stage calcinations method and conventional mixed oxide process. And also, their dielectric and piezoelectric properties were investigated. Excess PbO improved all the dielectric and piezoelectric characteristics due to the enhancement of sinterability. At the PbO of 1.00 mol and sintering temperature of 930 degrees, the properties of specimen showed the optimum values of density = 7.79 g/cm(3), epsilon(r) = 1274, kp = 0.553, Qm = 1576, d(33) = 318 pC/N, respectively for low loss multilayer piezoelectric actuator application.
