Synthesis of Ti-Salen Complex Immobilized MFI-Zeolite Having Mesoporous System as Active Catalyst for Olefin Epoxidation

The incorporation of the mesopores within the silicalite crystal was performed by post-synthetic method using NaOH solution. Titanium salen complex was immobilized into the mesoporous silicalite. The catalyst showed the excellent activity (epoxide yield to 81%) and high stability (with the 4th recycle) in the epoxidation of (−)-α-pinene with H 2 O 2 .
