CoIII and CuII complexes of reduced Schiff bases: Generation of phenoxyl radical species

Copper(II) and cobalt(III) radical complexes involving coordinating phenoxyl moieties have been synthesized. The phenoxyl location, as well as the number of these radical moieties, are directed by the nature of the metal ion and the amount of protons present in the medium.
