A novel method for localizing and tracking target in binary-detection sensor networks

According to the features of two nodes used for localizing a target,an improved centroid localizing method was proposed which is suitable for binary-detection sensor networks.And a target tracking algorithm based on linear least square principle was also presented;combined with the centroid method and the improved centroid localizing algorithm,this tracking algorithm can calculate the target′s velocity and course.The simulation results indicate that the improved centroid localizing algorithm is better than the centroid method in precision and based on the tracking algorithm presented,the relatively exact target velocity and course can be obtained.
