Selective Egr-1 Inhibition Reduces Infarct Size in the Diabetic Rat Heart with Myocardial Ischaemia–Reperfusion Injury
Heart, Lung and Circulation(2009)
摘要
Background: The transcription factor Egr-1 is of pathogenic importance in experimental myocardial infarction (MI). However, Egr-1 is also up-regulated by insulin in vitro, raising the possibility that Egr-1 pathophysiology may be of even more importance during MI in diabetes.
